For those who don't know: OpenWRT is a Linux-Distribution for WLAN-Routers, originally developed for Broadcom platforms, it now runs also on various other Platforms. You can find more information on OpenWRT at

I built some packages for OpenWRT to make use of my BT-enabled Sony-Ericsson phone (old T68i).

Import CSV to TAB PDF Print E-mail

I recently downloaded and installed The Address Book and found that there was no way to import my contacts from my Palm. So I decided to hack up my own Import-Script.
The idea is based on an earlier approach posted in the TAB-Forum and a hacked save.php
You can download the script in the attachment section. You need to uncompress the import.php and FileUtils.php files and upload it to your TAB directory. Then simply run import.php in your webbrowser and upload the CSV-Files. For now, only TAB and JPilot CSVs are supported!

PocketMP is a PHP-Script to control MPD, a great Music Player available at PocketMP was designed to control MPD from my Palm Tungsten over Bluetooth, but can also be used from any other Web-Browser.
I used some code from phpMp (authentication and command-sending), but most of it is hand-made :).
Current Version: pocketmp-0.3.3.tar.bz2 may be found in the Downloads section.

Linux on BenQ JoyBook 6000 PDF Print E-mail

The JoyBook is not the best laptop when it comes to Linux. I must confess that I never really looked on Linux-Support before buying it. Even now, that I own it, I hardly found any Websites dealing with the JoyBook 6000 and Linux. Some very useful information is available for the JoyBook 5000 at (in German), but not all is true for the JoyBook 6000 as well. I will try to give you as much Information as possible on how to get your System up and running!
